As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law, but are not obliged to monitor third-party information we transmit or store, or to investigate circumstances pointing to unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which a concrete infringement becomes known. If we become aware of any such infringement, we will remove the content immediately.
This site links to external third-party sites (e.g. Substack, LinkedIn) over whose content we have no control, and for which we accept no liability; responsibility lies with the respective operator. Such links will be removed promptly upon becoming aware of any infringement.

Terms & Conditions
§ 1 Scope: these terms apply to all book orders placed via sharedechoes.com by consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB. The seller is Johannes Mirecki, Schmiedetwiete 12a, 23898 Labenz, Germany (self-published / Eigenverlag).
§ 2 Formation of contract: the display of books on the site is not a binding offer but an invitation to order. Submitting the contact form constitutes your binding offer to purchase; the contract is formed only once we expressly confirm the order — including availability and final price — by email.
§ 3 Prices, shipping, and payment: prices in EUR as confirmed at order confirmation apply. As a Kleinunternehmer under § 19 UStG, no VAT is shown. Shipping costs apply on top of the book price (see § 4 of the Ordering & Shipping section below for current estimates). Payment is due in advance, by bank transfer only, to the account details provided in the order confirmation; the book ships upon receipt of payment.
§ 4 Delivery: shipped, depending on availability and stock location, from Germany or from China. See the Ordering & Shipping section for estimated delivery times. International deliveries may be subject to customs duties or import charges, payable by the buyer.
§ 5 Retention of title: delivered books remain the seller's property until paid in full.
§ 6 Warranty: statutory warranty rights apply. Please report any obvious transport damage or defects promptly by email; this does not affect statutory warranty periods.
§ 7 Liability: unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, liability is limited to breaches of a material contractual obligation and capped at foreseeable, typical damage. Liability for injury to life, body, or health is unaffected.
§ 8 Governing law and jurisdiction: German law applies, excluding the CISG. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the consumer's habitual residence remain unaffected.
§ 9 Severability: should any provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
Ordering & Shipping
As there is no automated checkout, a book order runs in four steps:
You send your order via the contact form, with book title(s), language (German/English), and delivery address.
I confirm availability, final price including shipping, and bank details by email.
You pay in advance by bank transfer.
The book ships once payment is received.
Payment
Advance payment by bank transfer only. No other payment methods are currently offered.
Shipping — from Germany (orders shipped to Germany or the EU)
Germany: approx. €2.70 (Deutsche Post Warensendung, up to 1 kg, no tracking) to €4.19–6.19 (DHL Päckchen, with tracking).
EU: approx. €6.49 (DHL Päckchen S international, online rate, no tracking) to €10.49–11.99 (Päckchen M, with tracking) depending on package size and destination country.
Rest of world: case-by-case
Shipping — from China (orders shipped within China)
China domestic: approx. RMB 12–20 (~€1.50–2.50) via SF Express or China Post for a single book, depending on origin/destination distance. Carrier-quoted rate at time of shipping — figure here is an estimate, not a published flat rate.
Deliveries outside the EU may be subject to additional customs duties or import charges, payable by the buyer.
Formats and prices
Formats, prices, and ISBNs are communicated directly with each order and are not fixed here.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me (Johannes Mirecki, Schmiedetwiete 12a, 23898 Labenz, Germany, johannes.mirecki@gmail.com) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for supplementary costs from your choosing a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery I offer), without undue delay and in any event within fourteen days from the day I receive notice of your withdrawal. I will use the same means of payment as used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise, and you will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.
I may withhold reimbursement until I have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. You must send back the goods without undue delay, and in any event within fourteen days from the day you notify me of the withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion
The right of withdrawal generally does not apply to sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery — this typically does not affect the books offered here, as they are not sealed goods in this sense.
